George II Period Mahogany fold over tea table
A particularly fine and rare George II period Mahogany Fold Over Tea Table, the fold over rectangular top above a pair of cockbeaded drawers, fitted with brass swan neck handles with shaped backplates and fret cut apron, raised on cabriole legs with pad feet. This table is constructed from the earliest heavy Mahogany which is traditionally believed to have come from Cuba. The colour, grain and figure on this example are all outstanding.
